Grated carrot. 1/2 kilo
Sugar. Half cup
Milk. 1/2litre
(Full cream)
Elaichi. 4 or5
cashews
Raisins (kissmiss)
Ghee. 2 or 3 tea spoons
Take a thick bottomed pan and add two spoons of ghee. When hot, fry cashews and kissmiss on low flame and keep them aside. Then, add grated carrot and fry on low flame. When carrot becomes a little soft, add milk and cook on open flame in high. After milk is almost absorbed, add remaining ghee and fry for some more time. Add elaichi powder and fried cashews and kissmiss. Halwa is ready..
